Fantasy Startup® is an immersive and challenging simulation, comparable to an MBA-level experience, aimed at instructing individuals in the intricacies of startup investing.

This program caters to a diverse demographic, irrespective of age or current financial standing, providing an entry point into the burgeoning world of entrepreneurial investment.

Successful graduates of the course, meeting specific achievement criteria, can acquire Level 1 Startup Investors certification. This certification serves as an initial step toward eligibility for participating in startup investments, with investment minimums as modest as $1.00. Research indicates that individuals aiming to build lasting wealth should diversify their portfolios and consider allocating a portion, not exceeding 10% of their net worth, to this asset class.

Participants kick off with a virtual wallet containing $10,000. Throughout the simulation, they encounter up to 50 distinct startup investment opportunities, each meticulously categorized into Market Size, Team, Signals, Valuation, and Risks components. Decision-making is key; upon presentation of an opportunity, investors have a limited window of 5 minutes to commit funds or decline. Opting out foregoes any future engagement with that specific startup, while choosing to invest unlocks further opportunities to support the growth trajectory of the selected venture.

Investments made manifest within a personal portfolio that tracks the performance of each venture over time. The passage of each day in the course correlates to a year in the lifespan of the startups: for instance, if a startup concludes its journey with an exit three years post-initial investment in reality, its virtual storyline unfolds across three days from the initial backing.

• The selection of startups featured in the 2021-22 version is grounded in authentic narratives encompassing conclusive outcomes such as exits or failures.
• Every startup eventually concludes either with a successful exit (e.g., IPO, Acquisition) or as an unsuccessful venture. Identifying ventures with promising potential lies within your purview.
• The course encompasses 150 compact lessons delving into various facets of the startup investment ecosystem. Participants will undergo evaluation through 50 quiz inquiries to unlock all 50 investment instances.
• Engaged players have the option to enlist friends to partake in the course and engage in friendly score comparisons.

Attaining Certification is contingent upon investing in 25 or more startups and achieving a minimum return multiple of 3X on their investments. In practical terms, a participant investing a total sum of $10,000 must yield at least $30,000 by the culmination of the course to meet this criterion.
